Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website can store in your browser and receive with later requests. Local storage is different: it stays in your browser and is read by the application, rather than being automatically sent with each web request.
What the learning application stores

Saving code and progress is a browser-local learning feature; it is not used to identify you across websites. The built-in exercise application does not set login or session cookies.
Google Analytics (optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure which pages are visited and how the site is used, so we can improve the lessons. The site loads Google's tag (gtag.js) directly; it does not use a Google Tag Manager container.
Until you accept in the cookie banner, the Analytics script is not loaded and no Analytics cookies are set. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and advertising storage is always denied. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal unless you opt in under Cookie settings.
To change your choice, use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, Analytics is no longer loaded and we delete the _ga cookies this website can access. Cookie durations above are Google's documented defaults; see Google Analytics cookie usage on websites.
External resources and links
Our styles load fonts from Google Fonts. This creates requests to Google's font services. See the Privacy Policy and Google's privacy policy for more information about external requests.
Sponsor links, in the footer and in the sponsored banners beside lessons and articles, include campaign parameters, also called UTM parameters. They are part of the destination URL, not a cookie set by this application. Banners are images served from this site and store nothing in your browser. If you follow a sponsor link, the destination website applies its own storage and privacy policies.
Your controls
You can block local storage or clear this website's data in your browser's privacy or site settings. Clearing site data removes saved exercise code and completion records on that browser. It does not remove data from another browser or device.
The Reset action in an exercise restores its starter code and resets completion for that exercise; it does not clear every exercise's storage. If storage is unavailable, you can still read lessons and use the editor, but your changes may not survive a reload.
Changes to storage
If measurement or other storage features change, we will update this policy and provide the applicable choices before activating optional storage. Accounts and progress synchronization are not currently available.
