The learning service
LearnPhpOnline.com provides PHP lessons, reference material, platform guides and browser-based exercises. Public learning content does not require an account. These terms describe the current learning service; separate terms may apply if paid or account-based services are introduced.
Acceptable use
Use the site for lawful learning and experimentation. Do not attack or disrupt the website or other systems, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, infringe others' rights, or use the service to process information you have no right to use.
Only enter code and data that you are entitled to use. You remain responsible for the code you write and for any use you make of examples outside the exercise environment.
Your code and local progress
You retain any rights you hold in code you write. Using the local editor does not transfer ownership of your code to us. The application saves exercise code and progress in the current browser rather than providing a hosted backup.
Keep a separate copy of work you want to retain. Browser settings, clearing site data, storage limits, software changes or using a different device may make saved work unavailable.
Learning material and examples
You may read the published material and use or adapt the site's original code examples for learning and your own projects. This permission does not extend to republishing the lesson library or using the LearnPhpOnline.com name or branding as your own. Third-party code, trademarks and linked documentation remain subject to their owners' terms and licenses.
Examples are educational starting points. Check their compatibility, security, licensing and suitability before using them in another environment. Runtime versions, extensions, hosting configurations and project APIs can differ from the examples.
Exercise results and availability
Client-side exercise checks provide learning feedback. Passing a check is not secure certification, a professional qualification, or a guarantee that code is correct for every input or production environment.
We may update, replace or temporarily withdraw content and features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of browser progress, or support for every browser and PHP feature.
External websites and sponsorship
External links are provided for additional information and access to independently operated services. Hosting is sponsored by Vallic Cloud, and pages show sponsored banners. Sponsorship does not make the sponsor the provider of the learning service or establish a contract between you and the sponsor. Any service you choose to obtain from an external provider is governed by that provider's terms.
Responsibility and applicable rights
The service and learning materials are provided for educational use, without a promise that they will meet a particular requirement or be free of errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by relying on examples without suitable review or by losing browser-local work.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or removes consumer or other statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory law applicable to you continues to apply.
Privacy and changes to these terms
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain the application's current data and storage behavior. We will publish changes to these terms on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be identified so you can review the terms for continued use.
